This picture is the second photograph produced of the material displayed. It is a complete departure from the way I was previously photographing in full sunlight. This style change was the beginning of my searches for the transitions between the warm light of day and cool light of evening. Working with silhouettes, a theme you will see repeated in a number of the photographs, began at this point as well.

A friend of mine pointed out the simplicity of this picture to me. There are really only two subjects in this photograph, the tree and the changing light. The more I read and study the art of photography the more I understand that it is this balance between what has been included and what has been left out, these choices, that determine the tone of a photograph. Simplicity is a subject I will be exploring and aspiring to as my style continues to develop.
